Sea Lion Games will use GameCenter on the next game.  Like other options, it offers Achievements, Leaderboards, and a way to find new games.  GameCenter is feature rich and includes support for multiplayer gaming.  For devs and players, it’s a great option because of both its features and that its resources are part of the OS which keeps game size smaller.  With that, games can have more content and still make the 20M size requirement for being distributed over the air.  To use GameCenter requires updating to iOS 4.1 and it’s not available for iPad yet.  Update: Also note that while available for iPodTouch2G and up, it appears to not be available for iPhone3G.

Recently, Sea Lion Games finished work on a game for iOS on all device platforms at all resolutions.  It’s up to the publisher to announce it.  Stay tuned.
